Troodos Mountains - Kykkos Monastery

This tour will become an unforgettable holiday memory to your clients. They will arrive to Troodos Mountains passing through the largest water dam enjoying the view of pine forests and various picturesque traditional villages. A stop at Troodos Square will give your customers the chance to unwind a little bit enjoying their coffee 1750m above sea level. The tour continues via Platres and Marathasa valley leads us to Kykkos Monastery which is the richest and most famous through out the island. It was founded in the 12th century and dedicated to Virgin Mary, well known for an icon of the mother of the God believed to have been painted by St.Luke. The tour will continue to a visit to Throni, an area on the top of a hill above the monastery that the Tomb of Archbishop Makarios III, who was the first president of Cyprus government! We will then make a stop for Lunch and on our way back a coffee brake will follow.
